About this coffee

A washed Kenyan single origin from the high-altitude farms of Nyeri County — bright, structured, and unmistakably fruit-driven. Blackcurrant and bergamot lead the cup, with tropical fruit and mixed berries layered underneath. The body is velvety, and the finish is clean and well-defined.

The region

Nyeri County sits in Kenya's central highlands, where rich volcanic soils and elevation combine to produce some of the country's most expressive coffees. The growing conditions here consistently deliver clarity, pronounced fruit character, and a structural integrity that makes Nyeri a benchmark region for East African coffee.

History of coffee in KENYA

Kenya's coffee industry dates back to the late 19th century and has since become one of the most respected on the continent. Shaped by a strong cooperative system and a consistent commitment to quality-driven cultivation and processing, Kenyan coffee has earned its reputation — and continues to set the standard for washed African lots.
