As our flagship café at De Waterkant in Cape Town, our objective is to surprise and delight you with an extraordinary, ever-changing list of some of the world’s most exciting coffees. Enjoy them brewed using the widest range of methods, from expertly poured espresso to a full range of hand-poured methods, including Hario V60, Chemex, siphon, Aeropress, plunger, and even Turkish. We also serve 20 speciality leaf teas from our friends at Nigiro Tea Merchants.

Our beans are available for retail sale, and we have a curated selection of coffee equipment to make these at their best.

If great coffee is not enough, we also offer a regularly changing menu of baked items, breakfasts, light lunches and snacks celebrating the diversity of the world’s great cuisines. Café food should be something you can enjoy every day while also being extraordinary and exciting.

Selected wine, craft beer, and some classic and coffee-based cocktails are also on offer.

Please note that our kitchen closes 1 hour before the cafe – so the kitchen closes Mon-Fri at 15:00 and Sat-Sun at 14:00.
